During his decorated computer science career, UIUC CS major John Burkey was a chief architect at Java, Microsoft, and even one of the early developers of Apple's Siri Voice Assistant. Since then, he has founded his own company, Brighten.ai, which works with enterprise clients to provide them with an industry-leading voice assistant, as well as AWS-based syncing and training services. Today, we talk with Mr. Burkey to dive deeper into his college and career accomplishments to gain insight into what it takes to do what he has done and is currently doing in the field of computer science.
